Employment History
Working at Energizer Holdings A multi-national conglomerate that specializes in the production of batteries, and automotive care products, working within its automotive care business that manufactures and disturbutes its products globally to Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand. The aforementioned products includes Armor All , STP , CALIFORNIA scents and Jelly Belly® the latter of which is scheduled to go into production at its site in South Wales.
Working full time for a medium sized fintech firm specializing in Lending Management Software (LMS) that allows creditors to keep track on their customers (borrowers) repayment schedules, the web-based software alerts the creditors when accounts have missed payments i.e., arrears which allows creditors to take action in reclaiming an outstanding debt.
Working for a small company, developing tender management software for medium to large enterprises around the world, using a plethora of web technologies from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery. My duties involved the implementation and design of the product “TenderEyes”, a tailored web based application that allows customers to use the software via a pc/laptop or handheld device, as well as development, other duties involved testing the software prior to deployment to our customers.
Working for a young technology company specializing in providing storage solutions for the media industry, such customers include Orange, ITN and Sky, my role involved the building and configuring of storage servers suitable for the customers’ needs and providing overall support such as responding to customers queries and the replacement of faulty items (RMA), I was also involved in company stock and ensuring that the company have enough replacement items to send out to customers when needed.
Working alongside a team of Change and Problem managers in Cardiff, Amsterdam and Paris.
Following ITIL procedures, my roles were ensuring that all SLA’s meet their target deadline. Advise on non-standard changes and see if such IT changes are suitable for business whilst considering benefits and risks. Was involved in successfully launching a mobile application service (Good Technology) to the employees of Atradius worldwide that allows employees to work remotely. I was also tasked of updating our own departments website, fixing 404 errors and making the website fully functional again after a very long period of the website been no longer maintained. Originally a 12-month contract, the contract was extended to an additional year due to meeting targets.
Working full time for a local government on a 6-month internship, the role involved assisting the Chief
Information Security Officer in day to day tasks, such tasks included, making sure council employees are completing compulsory e-learning training and are aware of the concept of information security, assisting senior staff with any queries and remote software installation within the organisation. Carrying out information mapping that involved identifying security vulnerabilities and providing support when needed.
